I didn't "get" this record at first, but after a few months of it being out, it really sunk it's teeth into me. It's a timeless classic now, of course, and though I wish more people would give their latter discography a chance, there's no denying the absolute powerhouse this record is. This was absolutely the gateway drug to shoegaze and dreampop for so many people, myself included. And now I put it on every year as soon as the air starts to feel like autumn.
